Environment Mapping Tint Component

Environment Mapping Tint component color tints the specular and environment reflections. Under the hood, the Animaze shader uses a color map (RGB) to modulate against the current specular and environment reflections, with the intent to emulate how light behaves on colored metallic surfaces, such as gold.

  • Environment Map Component

  • Color texture - RGB 

Additionally, the result can also be influenced by tweaking the values of Environment Mapping and Lighting components.

Pro Tip!

Desaturating a bit of the color texture will have a more natural effect on a metal surface.
